Curious soul since birth, Andrea’s life path took a 180-degree turn when he decided to support the education of Kakuli, a 7-year-old girl from Bangladesh.
He took this decision after connecting with Rishilpi International Onlus, an Italian NGO operating in Bangladesh since 1974.
It was the end of 2020, the difficult months of the pandemic, and he felt dissatisfied with his work and his hectic lifestyle that didn’t bring him happiness.
Like many, perhaps struck by the “modern living disease”, he felt the need to change course and to fill a void with something more meaningful.
Riding his old Vespa solo, Andrea embarked on an extraordinary 25,000-kilometer odyssey, across eight countries in five months.
This wasn’t only a quest for adrenaline or exploration of the unknown. It was a deeply personal journey driven by a desire to immerse himself in new cultures.
Each kilometer brought him closer to understanding the world and himself in a profound way.
“I discovered the kindness and generosity of strangers, who welcomed me into their homes and helped me in any possible way.
Andrea’s Vespa became more than just a means of transport: it was his adventure companion, his ally against doubts and challenges. Riding it, he discovered a truth that transcends engines and wheels: it’s never too late to chase your life dreams, to break the mold and embrace a new unknown path.
Here’s the beauty of a Vespa – what some might see as a simple machine, not suitable for traveling, Andrea found his best solution. Vespa, after all, embody a philosophy: “what isn’t there, can’t break”. Their light weight and maneuverability make them perfect for exploring hidden corners, while their lack of complex electronics keeps the focus on the joy of the ride.
In a world obsessed with speed, Vespa reminds us that slowness can be the key to a happy life, allowing us to savor the journey and truly connect with the world around us.

Back from my journey, I realized It wasn’t just a travel through new landscapes, but a profound exploration of my own nature and self potential.
Every (s)mile, every encounter, every breathtaking view taught me something new. I learned the value of perseverance and self-reliance, overcoming challenges and, most important, learning to rely on the help of others. I never believed in the myth of the “superhuman” that can do everything by himself.
This transformative life experience challenged his preconceptions, shattered cultural barriers, and ultimately revealed the truth: “humanity has no borders.”
Now, I’m burning with the desire to share my life path with you all.
I want you to know that dreams are not just fleeting desires, but goals to be chased with unwavering determination.
I want you to break free from the chains of doubt and fear and embark on your own journey. It’s only by stepping outside your comfort zone that you can discover who you truly are.
And remember that “slowness” is the key to an happy life 🙂
